Yoga is the most ancient of all fitness systems. Exact dates of its origin are unknown but reportedly 3000 to 5000 years ago it was initiated by monks in India. Yoga translates into union or yoke; the balance and harmony of the body, mind and spirit. Yoga is a practice; a way to fully experience your life using postures or asanas ( steady poses) calming the mind and emotions using specific breathing techniques.
Yoga is not a religion although some styles of Yoga have certain disciplines of eating and daily life. Yoga can be enjoyed by everyone from children to seniors.
